The progress of the work and chronicle of Clinica Central Fernando de la Mora (Asunción)

Our dream has now become a reality!

On 1 February 2006 we began the construction of the new clinic of Fundación Visión. Thanks to God, to friends and people who – with great love and dedication – contributed their time and money in this work.

The clinic provides 6 consulting rooms where more than 200 patients are being treated per day and also the administrative area could occupy its rightful place in the new headquarters.

The clinic contains 2 rooms for surgery fully equipped with the latest in operating technology. We have 1 operating room for surgeries performed on children and also for complicated surgeries using general anesthesia. The major operating room is intended for cataract surgeries done under local anesthesia. Four operations are carried out simultaneously enabling an enormous relief to meet the daily requirements.

The clinic also offers accommodations for socially disadvantaged patients and provides amenities for staff of the institution. Still yet to finish is the area for treating private patients and also the area for studies.
