Our Own Clinic

Until March of 2008, the entire physical infrastructure where Fundación Visión conducted its programs was rented. Our growth created the need for our own building, where we can provide services to more patients and improve our quality of care.

We are currently building Fundación Visión’s clinic on Ingavi street in the city of Fernando de la Mora. The finished building will have an approximate area of 6,000 square meters. It will be the first community health center in Latin America, and it will be linked to the worldwide program "Visión 2020", whose goal is the eradication of preventable blindness by the year 2020.

The operation of the new clinic will allow us to performance up to 100 surgeries per day due to the fact that there will be multiple operating rooms. In addition to our current ophthalmology services, specialized medical services will be offered in the areas of ear, nose and throat, deontology, and plastic surgery for harelip and club foot.
